Mr. Printz retired in 2000 as the vice president and chief information officer of the MacNeal Health Network where he oversaw direction of Information Services, Telecommunications and Facility Services.

A twenty-year member of the MacNeal management team with a history of responsibilities for improving operations and efficiency within the Enterprise, Mr. Printz took great pride in his leadership of MacNeal's Infoservices team and the commitment and sophistication evident in MacNeal's advanced infoservices capability.

He has lectured at colleges in Illinois and Maryland and has spoken internationally on the application of computers to health care.

With a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a masters degree in Personnel Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., he has also served on: the metro Chicago HIMSS/CIO Rountable; the board of directors of The Suburban Library System of Illinois; and the professional advisory boards of the Diatek Corporation, the Azron Corporation, Micromedex, Inc. and DAOU Systems, Inc.
